1. Data Controller Under Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK"), the personal data you share through the umetech.com.tr website is processed, as data controller, by Alfa Garaj Ekipmanları ve Otm. Sn. Tic. Ltd. Şti. ("Umetech") within the scope described below. 2. Personal Data Processed When you contact us through our contact form, we process your full name, email address, phone number (if shared), and the content of your message. When you submit a request through our Request a Quote form, we process your full name, company name (if shared), email address, phone number, the product/model you are interested in, quantity, and any note you add. To prevent abuse and spam, we also process your IP address for requests submitted through either form; the IP address is kept for no more than 30 days and is then deleted automatically. Our site does not include visitor login or membership; only the data you share through the forms above is processed. 3. Purpose of Processing The personal data collected is processed to evaluate your request, respond to you, carry out quotation and information processes, and to secure our forms and prevent abuse (spam, bots). 4. Transfer of Personal Data Our website and the data you submit through its forms are hosted on servers operated by Netcup GmbH in Germany. Form notifications are delivered to us through our email delivery provider (Resend), which is based abroad. These notifications are also stored with our company's business email provider. We use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect our forms against bots and unwanted submissions; as part of this, your IP address and some technical data about your browser may be transferred to Cloudflare (based abroad). Images on our website are delivered through Cloudflare's storage and content delivery service (Cloudflare R2); when you view our pages, your IP address and some technical data about your browser are transferred to Cloudflare (based abroad). Backups of our website database are also stored in this service with access restricted. Other than the service providers listed above and where legally required, your data is not shared with or sold to third parties. 5. Method and Legal Basis of Collection Data you share through the contact form is collected electronically, based on the legal ground of "processing being necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller" set out in Article 5 of the KVKK. Data you share through the Request a Quote form is collected based on the explicit consent you give by checking the consent box on that form. 6. Retention Period Data shared through our forms is retained for as long as necessary to evaluate your request, and for up to 2 years from when your request is concluded, after which it is deleted or anonymized. This period may be extended where a legal dispute or retention obligation arises. Deleted data is also automatically removed from system backups within 1 year at the latest. 7. Cookies Our site does not use its own cookies for advertising or profiling purposes. Data Security Your personal data is transmitted between our site and your browser over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Access to the data is limited to personnel authorized for this purpose, and appropriate technical and administrative measures are taken to protect it against unlawful access, loss, or alteration. 9. Your Rights Under the KVKK Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, request information about it, learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly, know the third parties to whom it is transferred domestically or abroad, request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, request its deletion or destruction, and request that these actions be notified to third parties to whom the data has been transferred. Your request will be concluded free of charge within 30 days at the latest, depending on its nature; if the request requires an additional cost, a fee may be charged according to the tariff set by the Personal Data Protection Board. 10.
